REFERESHER

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Refresher program is two-semester program (1year) which commences in April each year. the program is initiated by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for eliminated candidate after three un-successful attempts in Professional Examination for General Nurses.

Candidate for admission into refresher Programme must possess the following:

  • Senior secondary school Testimonial
  • Computer print-out of S.S.C.E result with a minimum of five O’ level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than 2 sittings in NECO and WAEC (combination of WAEC and NECO is acceptable)
  • Primary Leaving Certificate
  • Declaration of Age or Birth Certificate
  • L.G.A Indigenes Certificate (for Sokoto State Indigenes only)
  • Index number, Academic transcript and Covering letter from previous school of nursing attended
  • Three (3) examination numbers for the three sittings (including months and year of attempts)

    Period of Admission

    Forms are usually on sale every year between January and February. Aptitude test take place March, while the study session begins in April each year.
